Well, I got a swell dream about Jon Hamm being crossed off the Glist by Quinn and Santana… and then Jon Hamm waiting for me outside of the Litchfield locker room after he asked me if I wanted to go to his office and talk about the Glist incident…

Too bad I woke up right before I got out of the locker room…

So, first off, I didn’t get any school work done today. I had a massive headache, plus I had Moose sitting on my bed next to me while I was supposed to be working and it was easier to pet her and watch the latest “Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis” than actually get any work done…

I’m horrible, I know. But I will get some work done tomorrow, for serious yo!

This morning I drove to Minneapolis to pick up Molly J and we went back to my house. I showed her the photo albums/scrapbooks that my mom made for me (awwww, pictures). Then we went and picked up some cookies and pizzas for lunch. We watched the pilot episode of Glee

Pilot – So, remember when this aired right after American Idol last May? I do… I remember seeing the commercial for it and knowing that this was going to be one of my favorite shows of all time. Sure, everyone was hooked on the Glee version of “Don’t Stop Believing,” but I was just happy to see a successful combination of comedy, drama and showtunes/musical theater-esque singing on television. I was never in a glee club (I was in choir in high school, but never anything close to a glee club), but they sure look like loads of fun. The pilot is great because it introduces Mr. Schue, Rachel, Finn and Sue brilliantly ๐Ÿ™‚

After Glee, we went downstairs to work on school stuff. Molly J got school stuff accomplished, but I totally just read EW.com for awhile and watched some viral videos while petting a sleeping Moose. Then we went back upstairs and watched Episode 2 of Glee: Showmance

Showmance – Another great episode… it’s the first appearance of Brittany, there are some great music numbers (“Golddigger”, “Push It”, “Take a Bow”), as well as one of my favorite Finn/Rachel scenes… I think it’s hilarious when she’s helping him try and reach some of the higher notes and he’s all like “That was good.” (Of course I can’t find the clip anywhere… geez). My biggest beef with this episode is that during “Take a Bow,” Rachel sings into her hairbrush, but she sings into the long, thin part of it instead of the head of the brush. Who does that?

After Glee, we talked with my mom for awhile, then went to dinner at Applebees. I laughed because the last time I was at Applebees was when I was in Athens, OH. What a horrible time that was ๐Ÿ˜‰

Then I drove Molly J back to her house while we listened to Glee (I listen to Glee music everyday… yep, I’m a dork).

Though, on the drive back home, I put on my Spring Awakening soundtrack. I friggin’ LOVE that show! I’m so glad I got to see it on Broadway with the original cast!!

Anyways… it’s time for sleep. (And perhaps another dream about Jon Hamm? That’d be swell…)

But, remember how much I loved the Emmys opener? Here’s a video on Entertainment Tonight’s website that shows how they went about creating it! Jimmy Fallon is awesome, and the people in the opener were awesome for taking the two days to learn the dance routine and lay down the audio… I will be watching that opener for years to come!

Have a good one ๐Ÿ™‚
