Here’s the link to my Glee-cap for Season 4 Episode 2 – Britney 2.0

(spoiler alert – I didn’t really like the episode very much :/)

I will likely have updates about job interview stuff next week. Keep your fingers crossed for me… please and thank you. (Like, I’m still going to work my ass off to try and earn this job… I will not solely be relying on people crossing appendages for me…)

Have a good one!

I’m at work right now (though if I am not with a customer, I am allowed to read or be on a computer/my phone)… So I thought I’d take a minute from a something I was typing up for a side project and give an update.

I’ve been busy. That’s a good thing, I know. I have a job until the end of the month that keeps me busy (and paid, thank God) 6 days a week.

I have an interview for a real job in a few hours. A real job that actually has to do with one of my majors.

This is not a drill.

I’m nervous, but confident.

I feel that’s a good thing.

I’m really busy this coming week… A friend from grad school is coming to town and we’re trying to figure out when to see each other. I’m going to 3 shows (!). The Emmys are on on Sunday… I have another interview sometime next week. And my brother’s wedding is coming up…

So much stuff!

I’m overwhelmed at times, but I think I’m handling my stresses the best I can.

I can’t believe I’ve been in NYC for almost 6 weeks.

Back to work and writing

Have a good one

Here’s a link to my Glee-cap from Season 4 Episode 1 – The New Rachel

Yeah… I think I’m going to go to bed now. I’ve been writing for the last, like, 5 hours, and my eyes are hurting. Soooo… sleep time. I can sleep in bc i don’t have to be to work until 3 – woot!

Have a good one

I haven’t been on here for awhile (sorry). I’ve been busy looking for work and trying to acclimate to the city. I have 4 jobs right now and am desperately looking for THE JOB that will fulfill my work needs and my living needs. (See, my 4 jobs aren’t even enough to pay all the bills each month… good thing I had some $ saved up… epic le sigh.)

I’ve been busy. That’s a good thing – it helps stave off the loneliness that sneaks in every now and again. I’m not alone, but I’m lonely – does that make sense?

Sometimes I still can’t believe that I’m here because there are familiar people and places all around me. I know I’m far away from family, but there are pieces of home/my past all around. I recently reconnected with a friend from high school and we’re going to an art show tomorrow, which should be fun (since the art show is for a friend from college… I admire my talented peers 🙂 ).

Living in NYC is weird. There are somethings that I’m already so over, but there are other things that I’ll likely never get tired of. Like seeing the Flatiron Building. That boggles my mind that I get to see that awesome structure as frequent as I do. I’ve seen a few actors/notable people out and about. There was an actor in my subway car the other day. I passed Andrew freakin’ Rannells on the street a couple days ago. He was, like, RIGHT THERE. (Looking super handsome, mind you.) Cuh-razy.

So… yeah.

I need to get back to writing. (One of my jobs is writing blurbs about movies for a website. Woot.) Just a reminder – new Glee is on tomorrow… I will have a glee-cap (probably Friday night or Saturday) on my Tumblr account (not here). So… I’ll link out to it from here, but it won’t be on here. Got it?

Have a good one
